What role(s) did you have before joining iHASCO?

I was a Smart Meter Engineer for British Gas. I installed electric and gas meters in homes all across my local area. I had my own van and tools and it was very different to what I do now.

When did you join iHASCO and what was your position when you joined?

I joined in 2015 and my position was an apprentice/New Business Consultant. My day to day role involved a mixture of cold calling, doing demonstrations of the system to new clients and training internally to understand the sales process better.

What progression have you experienced within the business?

I progressed from a New Business Consultant to a New Business Manager within the first 12 months. 4 years later, I progressed to a Senior New Business Manager. Seniorship is awarded for sustained outstanding performance, for adding value to the team, and for supporting our company values.

I have now progressed to the Sales Manager for the New Business team. This is my current role, which I started in July 2021.

How would you describe the culture of iHASCO?

The culture really is to have fun and look after each other. The business gives the opportunity to grow as well as have fun along the way. I have worked at iHASCO for 6 years and there hasn’t been one day I haven’t enjoyed. We have such a unique way of making our staff buy into our culture.

The main thing is we have people who want to do well and grow, alongside an amazing product. This makes the process and day to day smooth and enjoyable.

What would you say is your proudest achievement within your role?

I’d say my proudest achievement would be the consistency I showed within my sales role. I was a consistent hitter and always gave my everything month to month. This gained respect within my team and that’s what I am most proud of.
