Upcoming changes to admin LMS log-ins

During the next week or so we'll be making some changes to how our application handles administrative LMS log-ins. We're consolidating how our application handles log-ins in order to streamline development and improve security. These changes will also open the door to features such as 'multiple LMS admins' further down the line (more on that soon!).

Certificates are going green

Since what seems like the dawn of time our application has served the same Certificates to learners. While there is nothing 'wrong' with them, they look somewhat dated and from an environmental standpoint, they are far from great. We decided it was about time this changed so over the course of the next week or so you'll see some big changes to Certificates.

New LMS Features for Legacy Clients

For a number of years, we've run two versions of our LMS side by side. As we begin to push forward with more significant improvements to our application we've been able to merge these two approaches. For most of our clients (and if you're already using what we had lovingly referred to as v2 of our LMS) you won't see a change, but for those still using the first iteration of our LMS you'll now benefit from a range of new features.

Improvements to video playback

Back in August we explained that starting with Chrome 53, Google will start automatically blocking tiny and non-visible Flash content and that follwing this, with Chrome 55 in built support for Flash will be deprecated entirely. This is an intentional move by Google to encourage the transition away from Flash (which has many security vulnerabilities) to native video.
