When did you join Ihasco?
I was one of the founding Directors of Ihasco so have been here through it all!
What do you do there?
As with most businesses now, you have to wear a few hats - however, right now my main priority it to publish new training courses and also very excitingly, to encourage our clients to host their own training courses on our LMS. This is proving really popular.
What did you want to be when you were at school?
I always wanted to be an actor, but due to lack of talent and need of money that sadly fizzled out - still it was only a waste of 10 years.
What do you get up to when you’re not at Ihasco?
I have just finished building a house – so that has taken up most of my time – I am a father of two -Joe and Anna - and married to Tracey. When I get the chance I do a bit of Kayaking – but generally free time finds me eating out. I also ‘enjoy’ carting my children around to various sporting activities.
What’s your favourite food?
Lots of small courses (taster menus) doesn’t matter which cuisine so long as there is plenty of accompanying wine.
Where in the world would you most like to go?
I have been lucky enough to travel a fair amount - but due to living in a pretty cold climate I generally end up going somewhere hot to escape - however I would really like to experience the Arctic, sadly I would probably have to experience complete estrangement from my family first.
What’s your favourite movie of all time?
I hate to be predictable but when it comes to favourite films, Shawshank Redemption and Godfather 2 can be watched again and again - but if I had to choose 1 film for the "Desert Island" it would have to be The Big Blue. Why? If I have to explain it - then you wouldn't understand.
